Continental testing services registered me for the wrong exam. I got a letter in the mail indicating I had been registered for this wrong exam only one week before the test was too take place. Hardly enough time to get anything straightened out.
So I call them and they say the mistake was on my end but they refuse to prove that too me. They also refuse to refund my 226.00 application fee and wont reschedule me for the correct test. Basically the woman said sorry about my luck and recommended I went ahead and took the exam anyways. How can these be good business practices?!
I honestly feel like I was scammed out of 200+ dollars. Not a small amount by any means. I mean they took my money and didn't even try to do anything for me. Kathy. was first rude when I was trying to get more information on how to apply for my state board exam. I decided I was overthinking it and to drop it. When applying for my retest, I was charged $160 twice.
When I contacted Kathy on August 12, she told me she sees the charge and will request a refund but it does take a few days. Understandable no big deal. After 10 days I email her back and ask if there was any update on my refund. “Im waiting to see how you do on this 2nd exam.” Not only was that discouraging but keep in mind she already told me she was requesting the refund TEN DAYS AGO. She not only lied but she decided to see if I were to fail again and just keep my money. Like i don’t have bills to pay???
Also what if I didn’t want to take the test again for a long time? She just decided to wait and see. When I expressed how I felt about her decision on what to do with my money she replied with “Okay, I will take care of it. Actually I was not trying to make you feel bad. It does say no refunds however I will request it today.
I am not sure when your account will be credited because another area handles this. I only get the paperwork done. Plus when this happens, I usually do this for everyone“.
I didn’t change my mind and decide to not take the test. I was charged two times for one test. Secondly, SHE ALREADY TOLD ME MY REFUND WAS REQUESTED?? Also “when this usually happens she doesn’t this with everyone”???
Oh so you over charge regularly and decid to lie to the people and tell them you’ll request the refund, then not do it?? Not that it matters but I PASSED my test now. So there is absolutely no reason to “wait”.
